Premier League top scorers: 2021/22 standings in the Golden Boot race

The race for the Golden Boot has already heated up with the Premier League campaign in 2021/22.

Harry Kane won the prestigious prize last season for the third time after scoring 23 goals in 35 games and winning the Playmaker award with 14 assists.

However, the future of Tottenham’s striker is uncertain, as Manchester City continues to seek out the England captain.

Kane, despite all the uncertainty, is still the favorite to win the race.

Romelu Lukaku has signed for Chelsea. He was transferred from Inter Milan where he scored 24 goals to help the Italian giants win their first Serie A title since 2011.

Mohamed Salah, who was narrowly defeated to the prize last year, is expected to still be in the mix at the end of the season. Bruno Fernandes, currently leading the way, has also been in the mix after scoring a hat-trick against Leeds in Manchester United’s opening-day 5-1 win.
